Indie music is one of the fast-growing music genre in Manchester many pubs and restaurant venues had gave opportunities to the local artists to promote and showcase their talent. Tom Welsh is one of these artists who’s vocals had captured the hearts and ears of many people.

He is a Chorley-based singer-songwriter mostly accompanied with his guitar

He started his musical career back in 2015 with the release of his self-titled EP “Tom Welsh” which demonstrated a wonderful mixture of indie poetry infused with blues. The tones of his voice aligns with the soft rhythm of the guitar sound accompanied with drums, this is how he start of his song titled ‘bottom of the blue’ with muffling lines that intertwines with the soft acoustic tunes

He is a regular performer at the Northern Quarter’s open-mic hotspot, The Whiskey Jar. Where The surrounding atmosphere goes together perfectly with the rhythms that he plays for his devoted audience.
